Independence Day Celebrations start today!
After way over 200 years, July 4th is one of the most important holidays for an American to celebrate each year . A great excuse to party to celebrate the nations birthday! In Loudoun County the celebrations start today in many towns and villages with some of the larger events for the week listed below.
Dulles Town Center will host its fifth annual Liberty Festival with a host of bands and a local radio station providing a great evenings entertainment. The event is between 6 and 9.30pm tonight.
Celebrations in other locations are held at various times throughout the week.
The Town of Leesburg is holding one of the biggest firework displays in the area as part of its 17th annual Independence Day celebration at Ida Lee Park. The day begins with a fun parade and culminates with the fireworks display at around 9.30pm. Not to be missed.
