Virginia still the best state to do business!

State wins title second year in a row!

The state of Virginia has been bestowed the honor as the best state in which to do business second year in a row by Forbes.com according to Leesburg2Day.

The state beat Utah, North Carolina, Texas and Washington to the finishing post and according to state Governor, Timothy Kaine, "It’s great to be designated the best in the nation, but it’s even more rewarding to know that Virginia will keep the No. 1 title for yet another year."

According to Forbes.com the state earned the title due to favorable business conditions such as a great economy, low operating costs and a high standard of living. It is said that Business costs are 9% lower in Virginia than the rest of the country on average.

In fact many national corporations have relocated to the state to be close to the nations capital as well as take advantage of Virginia’s business friendly environment. In fact Loudoun county has the highest level of median income as a county compared to anywhere else in the nation as of 2006.
