Ground Has Been Broken for this much awaited Development

After a very long three year wait, ground has been broken at the new ‘One Loudoun’ mixed use development.

The 360 acre site on the corner of the Loudoun County Parkway and Route 7 will be a mixed use community of a planned 1040 homes, 3 million square feet of office space as well as 700,000 of retailing space. The site will also feature elementary school space as well as public ball fields.

The jewel in the crown of this development however is the World Trade Center at Dulles Airport" which is projected to generate 14,000 jobs for the area. The development is also one of the five finalists in plans to relocate the Loudoun County Government Complex.

It is hoped that plans to develop a new interchange on Route 7 will receive funding and help manage the growth in the area.
