Proposed Western Loudoun School System Expansion

Increased Growth in Loudoun has lead to discussions on the development of the school system in western Loudoun

Parents who are in western Loudoun county may learn the fate of proposed school system expansion plans this Tuesday.

The county plans to construct a high school near Purcellville in the next two years. The concern comes as the two year construction timetable is creeping up fast with only 14 months left of the timetable. The expansion is a reaction to ensure that overcrowding does not occur as the popularity of Loudoun county and subsequent growth continues.

The expansion task force have noted that there are temporary classroom accommodation which could be used if construction was delayed.

The popularity of the county is due to the high quality of life and community spirit which Loudoun residents benefit from. With a great education system and local economy (with Virginia retaining its title as the state to do business) it is no wonder that the area is seeing such growth.

There is a wealth of property for sale which will suit a family looking for a new home.
