Loudoun County Approves $1 billion development
Arcola Center Given Go Ahead!
Loudoun county has been busy as it has been given the green light to the $1 billion development of "Arcola Center"
The plans were approved today by the board. The mixed use development includes over 2.1 million square feet of retailing space and over 1100 residential units. The retailing space is specifically geared up to big box chain stores.
Ground is expected to be broken at the site in 2008.
Additionally in other development news the county plans to purchase a 145 acre tract of land in Leesburg to be used for government facilities in the future.
