Recycling Your Christmas Tree in Sterling, Virginia

Local Government Offer Free Tree Recycling For Loudoun Residents

We hope that you had a fantastic Christmas and enjoyed the festive celebrations!

For those of you who purchased a real tree to decorate for Christmas each year there is always the worry about what to do with it once the season is over.

Loudoun County therefore has a free recycling service which runs from today through to January 20th. This is a great environmentally friendly alternative to your tree ending up in landfill.

The location of the tree recycling site in Sterling is Claude Moore Park (use Loudoun Park Lane entrance, go to ball fields) 21544 Old Vestal’s Gap Road, Sterling VA 20164 which is open from 7am to 5pm daily.

If you are closer to other locations within the county outside of Sterling there are alternatives. - See the link below for more information from the County.
